With the support of the European Regional Development Fund and the SMARTCymru scheme, R-Tech Materials were able to purchase and commission industrial automatic metallographic preparation equipment in 2017.

The Innovation Voucher Support scheme provided £25,000 towards the purchase of the equipment which ncluded new Struers Abraplan and Abrapol industrial automatic metallographic preparation equipment, with associated coolant pumps, sample holders and ultrasonic cleaning tank. This purchase has enabled R-Tech Consultants Limited to increase the capability and capacity of their metallographic preparation work.
