Accreditations

UKAS

R-TECH Materials’ Test Laboratories are fully accredited by UKAS, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025. This is the standard of ‘General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’ which provides our customers with confidence that our testing procedures will deliver reliable results, every time.

UKAS is recognised in the UK and across the world as the gold-standard in accreditation of materials laboratories and maintains its rigorous accrediting standards through a yearly laboratory audit. This includes a review of our quality management system, the inspection of equipment and procedures and the witness of live testing by our technician workforce.

Our full UKAS scope is available here.

ILAC MRA

ILAC which stands for the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, is the international organisation for accreditation bodies operating in accordance with ISO 17011, for the assessment bodies for testing laboratories to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025. This organisation has established international arrangements based on the mutual recognition of certificates and reports issued by conformity assessment bodies (CAB) which facilitate trade and create a platform on which “accredited once, accepted everywhere” is realised. Established in 1996, ILAC consists of 36 members, one of which is UKAS.

We hope that the introduction of this further accreditation mark will give our clients the confidence that they need to entrust their materials testing and analysis needs to our laboratory wherever they may preside.
